I left my sketchbook in terminal B20 at the John F. Kennedy airport. In it were notes of all the places I'd been, things I'd seen, and people I had spoken with while wandering the streets of New York City. In it were mango candy wrappers from Little India grocery, a poem I had written lying upside down in an installation at Scandinavia house, a list of all the beer I had tasted, and pages of notes detailing the names of inspiration.
The day before I left the city, I took a terrible spill into the street, so I left quite a bit of skin in New York as well. For those of you who have not seen me, I am back in Minneapolis earlier than planned. I am happy to be back, happy that nothing was planned, happy to know that one day I will return to the city fully healed, and strong enough to pick up the fragments I left behind. Much excitement and growth and chaos is coming...stay tuned.

Would you like to hang out soon? I would love to make something together!
